Who owns Discover Darvel?

DART is a registered Scottish Charity (SCIO SC049591) focused on the regeneration of Darvel, Priestland and the surrounding area…

Our aims are the advancement of citizenship or community development; the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science; the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended and the advancement of environmental protection or improvement.

DART works cooperatively and closely with the community and businesses of Darvel and other volunteer groups including The Darvel Trust, The Darvel & District Community Council, The Darvel Improvement Group, The Darvel Gala Team and The Darvel Music Company.

Can anyone post content in Discover Darvel?

Yes! We welcome contributions from residents, visitors, groups, and businesses. Simply complete our short Content Request Form with the details you’d like to share. Once submitted, our team will review it and publish it on Discover Darvel so the whole community and visitors to our website can see.

Is there a cost to posting content on Discover Darvel?

It’s quick and easy — just complete our short online Community Calendar Entry Request Form with your event details. Once submitted, our team will review the information and post it to the Discover Darvel Community Calendar, making it visible to residents and visitors alike.
